Need Help With An Insurance Claim?
Quest has experienced insurance adjusters on staff that can identify damage resulting from a covered peril such as wind, hail, lightening etc. We can make the claims process a worry free experience by meeting with your claims adjuster during his/hers initial inspection.

We will be sure that your insurance company pays for everything they owe and not just for the roof. By having Quest meet with your claim representative, we can come to an agreed figure for the cost of the repairs. This will also keep from having to open a supplemental claim.

We have worked with insurance companies such as:
CHUBB, Fireman’s Fund, Farmers Insurance, USAA, Atena,
Harford, IMEKA, All State and State Farm.

Commercial Roofing
Quest offers a variety of commercial roofing applications and installations such as built up, modified, EPDM,SCPE, PVC Single Ply ballasted or mechanically attached, standing steam metal, corrugated metal and all types of tile and slate.
Quest also installs custom flashings, wall cap and gutters. We will install roofing on new construction and replacement on existing structures of any type. Our crews are educated and trained in many types of roof systems to ensure installation is to manufacture specifications.
We have developed a highly skilled corps of managers who provide quality service, recommending the best solution to the roofing needs of the community that will give maximum return on dollars invested.
We have safety programs that implement the same guidelines with OSHA.
From small single family dwellings, condominium & apartment projects, to the larger commercial buildings; Quest posses the knowledge and expertise to complete a vast array of roofing tasks. This includes a commercial division under the supervision of the vice president of the company.

We offer many types of roof; the most common types of roofing materials or roofing supplies for Residential Structures are: Asphalt Shingles, Wood Shingles and Shakes, Metal Roofs, Tile, Slate and Rubber Roofing Products.

Asphalt Roofs:    This is the most commonly used and least expensive roofing material and generally has a 15 to 25 year life span. Asphalt or composition shingles are made with a core of cellulose or fiberglass, covered with a coating of asphalt on both sides and topped with protective mineral granules. Asphalt shingles show their age when the mineral granules wear off, reveal the black asphalt, and the corners and edges of the shingles begin to curl and crack. This is an indication that the asphalt composition has begun to dry out and lose its weather-proof seal.

Wood Shingles and Shakes:    Wood shingles and shakes are made from western red cedar. Shakes are heavier than shingles and are split rather than sawn, giving them a rougher appearance than shingles.

Metal Roofs:    Metal roofs are highly resistant to damage from the elements and will frequently last 50 years or more. Metal roofs come in a wide variety of styles from metal tile with the look of traditional Spanish tile roofs to metal shake with the look of traditional shake roofing to standing seam metal applications.

Clay and Concrete Tiles:    Tile roofs are among the most stylish available. They are also among the most challenging roofs to support and install. Because clay tiles can weigh over 1000 pounds per square, most roofs will need reinforcement to hold such weight.

Slate:    Beautiful and stable, slate roofs are also costly and cumbersome to install. A slate roof will last a lifetime and is fireproof.

Rubber Roofing:    Manufactured from recycled automobile tires, rubber roofing products are beautiful and durable. They come with a 50 year warranty.

PALISADE(TM):    PALISADE(TM) surface color was specifically engineered to reduce the effects of solar radiation absorption (heat up) and glare simultaneously. Utilizing KOOL BLUE(TM) technology, PALISADE(TM) was designed to produce a synthetic underlayment product that has both low solar energy absorption and low glare. But high reflectance can also mean high glare. The surface layer of PALISADE(TM) has been engineered with a unique low glare blue color and roughened microstructure which scatters the incident light, thus producing a diffuse reflectance, and low glare.

The principles of KOOL BLUE(TM) technology are visualized by a Solar Reflectance (SR) curve. The greater the % reflectance value, the lower the solar energy absorption and heat up. The figure below shows a SR curve for PALISADE(TM) and traditional black asphalt felt paper over the main visible spectrum wavelength range. As you can see, KOOL BLUE(TM) technology results in reflectance values of almost 50% in the visible spectrum compared to 5% for asphalt felt paper. This difference manifests itself during sun exposed underlayment conditions as a surface temperature rise of less than 10°F for PALISADE(TM) vs. 50°F for asphalt felt paper, and 8X cooler in terms of overall heat absorption!
